Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s resignation announcement halts any progress on a $48 billion proposal to reform child welfare systems on reserves. It also stalls a First Nations clean drinking water bill. Trudeau received both praise and criticism from Indigenous leaders following his resignation announcement. We’ll look at how Trudeau delivered on Indigenous issues in Canada.

The funding is kept primarily by Federal and Provincial bureaucracies and incorporated organizations. It’s definitely a story that isn’t transparent because the funding doesn’t reach the front line, very small percentage makes it to where it will count.

Interesting perspectives from the first nations ,, under section 35 there is 4 categories of indigenous peoples in Canada, First Nations, they are the responsibility of the king and the government of the day is responsible for them on the kings behalf !! Non status those of us who lost our rites and have been reclassified, metis , biracial people.
