Native American activists are speaking out in solidarity with Palestine as the U.S. continues its official stance supporting Israel’s right to defend itself against Hamas. Many Native observers have long connected tribal history in this country and Palestine’s resistance against Israel’s aggressive colonial actions. Some others see parallels between tribes and Israel’s defense of sovereignty and homeland.

Alish Tasen says
It is important to acknowledge most of us have been brainwashed by educational, religious and corporate institutions to be good little slaves (employees) as we feed the insatiable appetite of consumerism as it destroys our Mother Earth depleting OUR resources faster than she can replenish! There is enough resources to feed, clothe and house every human being on this planet! True Community (see The Different Drum) is the solution after WE raise our consciousness enough to create Intentional True Community rather than killing each other!
Anything else but true peace is unacceptable.
