Many people respond to the call each year to give to charities during the holidays. Charities and nonprofits provide services to many in need, including Native America. ProPublica and NPR recently investigate the American Red Cross and found allegations of mismanagement of resources like food waste during the Hurricane Sandy relief effort. How can we know if a charity is worthy of our donations?
