The National Native Media Conference co-hosted by the Native American Journalists Association (NAJA) wrapped up its annual conference earlier this month in Washington D.C. The conference is an opportunity for journalists and other media professionals to sharpen their skills, learn about newsworthy topics and network. On this show, we bring you interviews and speeches from the conference. The theme of this year’s conference was “Empower Your Story.” How are Native American journalists telling their own stories?
