Hello! I ALWAYS look forward to listening to your show.
Last Friday, I took some of my vacation time to see the matinee showing of “The Revenant”. I went back to work afterwards and told my co-workers: Oscar nominations for sure – TREMENDOUS film!
I absolutely loved the scenes with Hikuc (Arthur Redcloud), especially how he cared for Hugh Glass.
The scene where Hugh lays with his murdered son brought me to tears.
I very much look forward to watching more films in which indigenous profiles are realistically portrayed.
PS: Forrest Goodluck was outstanding as Hawk.
BTW: I am a 61-year-old Puerto Rican female raised in Brooklyn, grew up watching TONS of westerns.
