Hi,
Thanks for devoting a show to the wonderful one and only Debbie Reese. I’m a scholar of Indigenous authored children’s and YA literature. As a scholar, teacher, library patron, parent, friend….hers is the go to resource I recommend. If you or your listeners are interested in learning about some additional resources, the organization The Association for the Study of American Indian Literatures has a document with links to a bunch of resources (including Debbie’s blog, of course) for K-12 teachers who want to integrate Native-authored books in their curriculum. It’s freely accessible here: https://people.uwm.edu/asail/files/2016/07/k-12-resources-y95wjr.pdf.
Regards,
