Former Indian Health Service pediatrician, Stanley Patrick Weber, was convicted of sexually abusing children at the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Montana. He is also awaiting trial for sexually abusing children on the Pine Ridge Reservation in North Dakota. The PBS documentary program Frontline documents the abuse and uncovers how Weber was able to carry out abuses for decades. We’ll hear from those who have followed the case and the Native leaders who helped bring Weber’s crimes to light.

I am the community health educator on the Blackfeet reservation
I was born here. I was raised in Salinas , California. Every year of my life , my father, Earl Silvas brought us home.
I moved here in 1979 and married Dean Wagner in 1980. My first daughter Lily was born in 1981.
I became a teacher in 1983′ 10 years after I graduated from North Salinas High School
I taught the Young Mothers Program at Browning High School in the 80’s and learned a lot from students. I also had two more children in Browning; Jo in 1985 and Jack in 1986.
I left Dean Wagner and moved away with my children in 1988 to Bellingham WA
Subsequently, in 1992 I earned my Master of Public Health degree with emphasis in health education from the university of California, Berkeley
Ten years later I was hired to be the community health educator at Blackfeet Community Hospital
Currently I am responsible for a syringe exchange program.
I am in pain along w every patient/user/family member/teacher/CPScaseworker/judge/priest/pastor/etcetcetcetcetcetcetcetc
This is my community and I will not allow children to hurt any longer!
